    Student Theses

Every student is required to produce a thesis. Students are required to choose either the Thesis Option or the Alternative Thesis Option. The Thesis Option entails conducting an independent research project under the direction of a faculty advisor. The Alternative Thesis Option entails joining a research group that conducts research for two semesters under the supervision of a faculty advisor.

Thesis topics can vary widely. Students often create projects out of topics that are covered in the Special Topics Courses that are offered each semester.
