The MS program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology consists of 36 credits.

Required Courses (18 credits)

PSY 9703 – Design of Psychological Research

PSY 9705 – Applied Statistical Analysis

PSY 9796 – Problems in Industrial Psychology I: Personnel Psychology

PSY 9797 – Problems in Industrial Psychology II: Organizational Psychology

Either Sequence 1

PSY 99001 – Research Methodology in Design of Psychological Research (Seminar I)

PSY 99002 – Research Methodology in Design of Psychological Research (Seminar II)

or Sequence 2

PSY 99301 – Research Methodology (Thesis I)

PSY 99302 – Research Methodology (Thesis II)

Students are required to choose either the Thesis Option or the Alternative Thesis Option. The Thesis Option entails conducting an independent research project under the direction of a faculty advisor. The Alternative Thesis Option entails joining a research group that conducts research for two semesters under the supervision of a faculty advisor.
