    Internships

    The Department of Sociology and Anthropology offers Sociology 3185 and 3186: Internship in Human Service and Community Organizations.

    Designed to provide hands-on experience for students at all stages of their academic careers, including Sociology majors and individuals interested in community service, students have the option of taking the course for one or two semesters.

    Past placements included New York Cares, the Fortune Society, the Chinatown Planning Council, the All Stars Project, Lenox Hill Hospital, the Marcus Garvey Home, Dorot, Trickle Up, and the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services.
