Fall 2026 REGISTRATION NOTICE:
For registration questions and permission requests, please send an email to our departmental email address: wsaspoliticalscience@baruch.cuny.edu.
Please include:
- Your full name, phone number, EMPLID, major and minor, expected graduation date.
- The semester, course name, number and section (e.g. Fall 2026 POL 1101 ETRA – American Gov’t: Practices & Values).
- A note explaining the nature of the request.
NOTE:
Over-Tallies
Over-tallies are granted only under urgent and exceptional circumstances. For example, a student graduating in Fall 2026 with a Political Science major or minor may be considered if the course is required for graduation and no alternative options are available. If you believe your situation meets these criteria, please submit the following documents in PDF format: a copy of your unofficial transcript and a copy of your full DegreeWorks audit. All decisions are made in accordance with departmental policy.
Prerequisite Permission
If you are requesting permission to enroll in a course without having completed the required prerequisites, please attach PDF copies of your unofficial transcript and your full DegreeWorks audit. The department will review these documents to verify your completed coursework and determine whether you may be eligible for prerequisite permission.
