Internships in Arts Administration

A cornerstone of the Fine and Performing Arts curriculum is an internship program in which students may gain hands-on experience with an arts-related business or organization. Under the supervision of a faculty advisor, students work at least ten hours per week in assignments ranging from management, marketing, and fund-raising, to technical assistance and product development. A site mentor provides day-to-day guidance, and students meet regularly with the faculty coordinator and other interns to discuss and evaluate their experience.
