    Arts Administration

Department of Fine and Performing Arts

    As an Ad Hoc Major

Bachelor of Arts students interested in a career in the field of management and administration in one of the performing or fine arts may consider the interdisciplinary arts administration specialization. Students complete an appropriate ad hoc major (including courses in art and theatre); an internship in an arts organization; 9 credits in business subjects selected under advisement; and arts administration courses. Since the ad hoc major must be approved by the faculty advisor, it is essential that students make an appointment to discuss their interest in pursuing this area of study.

Students pursuing the Bachelor of Business Administration, arts administration is an interdisciplinary specialization that can also provide BBA students with the arts and sciences background to prepare for entry into fields like management in the creative arts.

For more information check the currentĀ College Bulletin.

Arts Administration is also offered at theĀ graduate level. Visit M.A. Arts Administration
